Dr. Bethanie Schatz received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University, College of Chiropractic in 2005. Dr. Schatz also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology. After 7 years of education and hands-on experience, her energy and passion for patient care is unmatched. Dr. Schatz is fully committed to providing the care necessary so her patients can meet and surpass their health goals. Dr. Schatz specializes in Applied Kinesiology, which uses muscle testing to help diagnose specific needs for each individual. Chiropractic treatment offers you hands-on, effective treatments which can help to relieve pain and inflammation in your neck, back, and extremities. Chiropractic treatments offer alternatives which are non-invasive, non-surgical and natural.
Dr. Bethanie Schatz uses a natural and conservative approach to your health concerns. Dr. Schatz uses manual and activator techniques, as well as drop-piece table adjusting and nutritional counseling. Dr. Schatz is also a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner which helps with lymphatic drainage and muscle strains. Along with unique skills, she brings energy and a positive attitude to meet your health needs.
Dr. Schatz is a mother to three beautiful children. She enjoys spending her time with her family and outdoor activities.
Dr. Mychaela Harp, D.C., CCSP®
Dr. Mychaela “Callie” Harp received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University, College of Chiropractic in 2013. Dr. Harp also holds her CCSP® degree as a board certified Chiropractic Sports Physician from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. Roughly only 5,000 individuals in the world hold this distinction. Dr. Harp has also received her Bachelors of Arts degrees in Biology and Sports Medicine from the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University. As part of Dr. Harp’s eight years of education, she completed two years of intense training through various internships under many talented chiropractors throughout the Twin Cities. She also completed numerous continuing education specialty seminars allowing Dr. Harp to specializes in Sport Chiropractic & Rehabilitation and Applied Kinesiology (AK). Dr. Harp also utilizes Motion Palpation, Functional Medicine, Graston soft tissue techniques, and Kinesis-Taping to help treat patients. She uses muscle testing to help diagnose special needs for individuals from sports injuries to food sensitivities. She also works on the entire body on many issues such as back and neck pain, headaches, and extremity problems. Dr. Harp performs manual adjustments, cranial work, activator, as well as drop-piece adjustments to offer safe and effective chiropractic treatments to help relieve pain and inflammation throughout the entire body. Dr. Harp has a whole body approach to health and wellness. Spending more time with patients, her compassion and entusiasm for each patient’s well-being can truly be felt.
Dr. Harp is a Hastings native who has a passion for sports. She played basketball and golf as a Hastings Raider and golfed for St. Bens in college. In her spare time Dr. Harp enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends, working out, practing yoga, attending concerts, and she loves to golf as much as she can.
Dr. Tara Roman
Dr. Tara Roman received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Bachelor or Science in Human Biology, and Acupuncture degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University. Dr. Roman is passionate about helping people achieve optimal health through chiropractic, nutrition, and acupuncture. She has experience helping patients with spine and joint pain, as well as injury rehabilitation. Dr. Roman also enjoys educating patients who suffer from food sensitivities, especially gluten intolerance. She is very familiar with food elimination diets combined with medical food products to help patients not only take a way the foods contributing to their gut inflammation, but to also help the gut heal with specifically targeted nutritional protocols. Dr. Roman lives in Elko, MN with her husband and two sons. She enjoys playing board games, going for walks, reading and volunteering at her church.
Dr. Ann Lohmann, D.C., RN
Dr. Annie received her Doctor of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2017. Prior to her chiropractic schooling, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from UW-River Falls and a second Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from The College of St. Scholastica. Dr. Annie utilizes a whole body approach to adjusting. She specializes in applied kinesiology (AK) to assist in diagnosing, as well as drop-piece adjustments, activator technique, and cranial work to aide in eliminating muscular imbalance, inflammation, and pain. Dr. Annie is also certified in Graston technique and Webster technique. She is a very thorough provider, spending additional time with each patient to ensure they receive the best treatment for their specific needs. It is her goal to help her patients live their best lives possible.
Dr. Annie grew up in Hastings and is excited to work in and give back to a community that helped shape her into the person she is today. She is happily married to her high school sweetheart, Matt, and together they are the proud, new parents to a beautiful baby boy. They both are huge animal lovers and have a rescue dog, Winslow, and cat, Penelope. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and playing cards.
Mara James grew up in St. Paul Park and graduated from Park High School in 1999. She attended Sister Rosalind Gefre’s School of Professional Massage and received her certification in Massage Therapy. Mara uses Swedish and Deep Tissue techniques and is an experienced prenatal therapist. She is also certified as an infant massage instructor. Mara works collaboratively with chiropractors and physical therapists to achieve patient health goals. She enjoys spending time with her 2 dogs, Hunter and Scout, outdoor activities and classic automobiles. Mara is currently pursuing a degree in nursing at Inver Hills Community College.
Samantha grew up in Hastings and graduated from Hastings High School in 2011. She attended Globe University – Woodbury, where she received her Diploma in massage therapy. Samantha specialized in Therapeutic Swedish and Depp Tissue Techniques. She enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting and four-wheeling. She also enjoys spending tie with her family and friends.
